Carson's little shadow

Nate and Alesa stayed a couple of nights with us over the holiday. Halene just LOVES Carson. She followed him where ever he went. All she wanted to do was copy his every move. Carson taught her some new Karate moves and how to play Hungry Hippos. Christmas day at Grandpa and Grandma's house Halene watched Carson jump off the stair steps and slide down the banister. (probably not a good thing to be teaching her!) We loved having Halene around for the short time she was here. Oh, and Nate and Alesa too!!!

Christmas

Thanks to Grandpa Perry got just what he wanted this year. Spike the Ultra Dinosaur!!!!!!
Shane's office throws a Christmas party every year for just the kids. Santa and his wife always visits with treats for everyone.

Carson and his Sunday school friends singing their hearts out at the Christmas program.

Well, Christmas has come and gone for another year. I posted just a few of the pictures of the highlights from all of our fun.

Vacation is over!

Well, we are home. The trip coming home was much more uneventful then the plane ride out there. (I didn't need a plastic bag.) Carson had the time of his life! Shane and I think every child should get to experience that at least once in their life.
Carson rode the Dumbo ride, the tea cups, race cars, watch the parade, and rode the elevator to the top of a building to ride a space ship. He even went down Splash Mtn. Shane convinced me to go also....I hated it!!!! It was a 55 foot down off- not for me. As you are free falling they snap your picture. We looked at the picture after we got off. Shane and Carson were in the front and all you could see was Shane's hands in the air, Carson holding on for dear life with his mouth hanging open and all you saw of me was my head b/t my legs! Carson and I only did it once...Shane went at least 3 times! That was all at Magic Kingdom which we went to on Monday.
On Tuesday, we went to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood studios. I loved the Bug's Life show and the Loin King show at Animal Kingdom. At Hollywood Studios Carson got to see the Power Rangers (i had no idea they were Disney!). Hollywood Studios is where Max Hickman works so Shane had someone to go on the Rock n Roller Coaster, and The Tower of Terror with. Max got them on right away without having to wait in the long lines.
Thursday night was our last night at Disney. Our hotel was the home to Chef Mickey's. A restaurant where you get it eat with some of the Disney characters. We were lucky enough to get a reservation. So Carson got have supper with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. The look of excitement on his face was priceless.
Through out the whole trip Carson was a trooper. It was long days and very late nights. I took tons of pictures. And will post more later. I need to get to the piles of laundry sitting here.....

Jager Boys

Carson got to babysit his cousin Damon Saturday. This is about as close as Carson got to him. The first time Damon made a little noise Carson said "let's just call uncle Brent".

Halloween

Carson and Papa John

So as you can see Carson went as a Rams Football player this year. He was all decked out....even had to have the black marks under his eyes. We hit the streets early this year and didn't finish until dark.

We did take a quick break at Papa John and Leola's for a picture. Carson goes over there to help daddy work for Papa John. Papa John has even given Carson jobs to do. He fills his bird feeders, cleans his pickup and loves to ride on his golf cart if the battery isn't dead. And his favorite is when they go to Hardee's for chicken strip when they are done working. But that will all be coming to an end in a few weeks when Papa John and Leola go to CA for the winter. Carson can't understand why they want to go to CA and miss out on all the snow here in IA!!!

I thought before fall was completely over I would post a few pictures from Pumpkin Land. The kids didn't sit still very long but we did get a few pictures of them. Carlie was supposed to be in the picture too but it was just way to hard for her to stay in one place- let alone take a picture. Anyway, there was lots to do at Pumpkin Land. A corn maze, petting zoo, pumpkins of all sizes, etc. Carson thought that Grandpa needed a corn maze in his corn field too. I told him that I didn't think that that would happen.

Farmer Carson

Ok, so after about a month of messing around with this I think I got it figured out.
Carson got to farm with Grandpa Ronnie for awhile one afternoon. Not sure who enjoys it more Carson or Grandpa.....Carson helped get the tractor gassed up, made a few trips around the field with the disc, then was ready to ride his bike back home.
