I had to do something last night that I do not normally do...I had to send Carson to bed early! I know what you are all thinking... Marci disciplined!! Yes, Carson was sent upstairs sobbing and mad at me at 7:30pm. It all started on the way home from daycare when he was whining about the pizza that I threw away over 2 weeks ago. After we got home he was upset about one thing after another. Nothing was right. I asked him to put his PJ's and to put his dirty clothes in the hamper. He complained about having to pick up after himself. And then he said it....
"you irritate me!"
"OK, Carson go up to bed! Now!"
"I'm sorry!! I'm sorry!!"
"Too late Carson... go to bed."
He started making his way up the steps sobbing "you are not accepting my apology!"
Carson carried on for awhile upstairs.
I remember one time when Carson was around 3 or so he called me a "poopy head" and I was devastated. Now he's 5 and I irritate him. What will it be when he's 16?
